Our Products

We sell Greek olives for both retail and home use. Our catering olives are of the Kalamata variety and come in 3kg recyclable PET plastic containers. Our retail olives are in 200g drained weight jars and there is a choice of Kalamata whole and pitted, and green olives stuffed with garlic, jalapeno and red peppers. Our olives come directly from a family owned business based in Kalamata near the Mani peninsula in Greece. They exclusively operate in the production and packaging of olives and olive oil and have an excellent environmental policy with a commitment to 'leaving as small a footprint on the planet as possible'.

We currently stock around 50 varieties of organic Italian pasta, including a comprehensive range of wheat and spelt pasta, as well as ranges made from legumes such as chickpea and lentil. All our pasta is available in consumer-sized packs and we also sell a small selection of 3kg and 4kg packs ideal for catering or loose sale. Our Italian organic pasta is sourced from Granoro, with bronze-extruded ranges made from organic durum wheat semolina pasta and durum wholewheat grown in Puglia, Sicily and Basilicata and produced to high specifications for both environment, taste and porosity. We are also proud to stock a brand new range from Carleschi, who are the first British artisan producer of organic dry pasta. They follow traditional Italian production methods, sourcing all their ingredients locally, using only British flour produced from ancient wheat varieties (Emmer, Spelt and Einkorn). The wheat is stone ground, and the wholemeal pasta bronze extruded and slow-dried at a low temperature. Carleschi also support zero waste initiatives by supplying in bulk, as well as compostable 400g bags or 4kg paper sacks, and their manufacturing site is powered with green energy.

We stock a full range of very competitively priced organic tinned pulses and tomatoes. The range includes black beans, black eye beans, borlotti beans, butter beans, cannellini beans, chickpeas, green lentils, green peas, a five bean mix, red kidney beans, chopped tomatoes, whole tomatoes and passata. We source this whole range directly from Anna, an Italian canner and processor that have been running their family business since 1925. Their philosophy has always been to produce high-quality products that use only the freshest tomatoes and the tastiest pulses. All of their products are Kosher and halal certified. In addition to our Locavore-branded range, we also stock Good Land’s ‘No Cap’ range of whole-peeled tomatoes and passata. Good Land is a young company working on rural regeneration through the activation of economies linked to the land and the communities that inhabit it. They aim to claim back land that has been marginalised, exploited neglected and disrespected. Good Land collaborate with ‘No Cap’, an international organisation fighting against the gangmaster system in the Italian countryside to produce this range which promotes fair and equitable working practices as well as environmental sustainabilty.

Our honey comes in attractive glass jars or squeezy recyclable PET plastic bottles and in two different sizes. It is unpasteurised and is a totally natural product without any kind of additive. We source it from a co-operative in south west Spain which originally started with a group of ten beekeepers in the 90’s to produce a few tonnes of honey but has grown to become a thriving cooperative with a wide range of honey since then. We also source organic clear and set raw Mexican honey from Equal Exchange.

Our tinned fish range is comprised of sardines in olive oil and tomato sauce, mussels in a marinade and also tuna, white tuna and mackerel in olive oil. All of the fish is sustainably caught and certified by MSC or Pescade Rias. The sauces and oils used in the recipes are all organically certified. The fish is sourced directly from Pan Do Mar (Bread of the Sea) who are a family company based on the Iberian Peninsula. They follow the traditions of their ancestors and base their production on the three key principles - sustainable fishing, organic ingredients and artisanal production.

We sell MedSalt Spanish natural sea salt in 1kg bags in both fine and coarse varieties. Crystallised under the Mediterranean sun, it is a pure unrefined salt that is extracted and dried using organic methods that ensures naturally occurring trace elements and minerals are retained. It can be used for catering or at home. Medsalt is produced by a family run business in Almassora who have been in business since 1926. They specialise in producing high quality salt for a variety of uses

Karma Cola puts the kola (and the karma) back into fizzy drinks. Unlike the big cola companies, Karma Cola is made from real Fairtrade and organic ingredients, including the kola nut from Sierra Leone. Karma Cola supports the growers of their ingredients both by paying them fair prices and with their Karma Foundation. Apart from the cola, they also make a fiery ginger ale and delicious lemonades.

Our household cleaning products come from Bio-D. Bio-D was launched in 1989 to counter the prevalence of toxic ingredients which were common in mainstream cleaning products. All Bio-D products are vegan, environmentally friendly and produced in the UK. They’re particularly good for people with allergies, as well as great value for money!

We sell a range of organic nut butters, as well as snacks and condiments from our carefully-selected producers. Almighty Foods is a small Scottish company and purveyor of all things raw, vegan, organic, and indulgent. They also take great care sourcing their organic ingredients and packaging (all recyclable or compostable). Sweeten your day with their chocolate bars or gourmet nut butters. We also stock delicious blends from Nutcessity. Mike’s nut butters which are peanut-free, don’t include any refined sugar or syrups, are palm oil and gluten free too. The Nutcessity range also uses zero plastic in its packaging. We also sell an exclusive range of treats, nuts and snacks from Natur’Innov, whose bulk zero waste range combines innovative new flavours and shapes with organic, natural ingredients. Additionally, Biona have been bringing organic food to the people since 1978, when they started trading via their kitchen table and have now expanded to sell a huge range of organic products including snacks, crisp breads and condiments. Finally, we also sell our own Locavore-branded delicious organic chocolate, produced with organically cultivated and fairly traded cocoa from the Dominican Republic.
